Janez Koželj

Koželj Janez, born in 1945 in Ljubljana, is an urban planner, architect and graphic designer.
Janez Koželj, born in 1945 in Ljubljana, is an urban planner, architect and graphic designer. During fifty years of work as an activist, editor and professor at the Ljubljana university, he taught urban design and architectural design. He published several monographs and built several buildings of different scales, types and structures. For his works he received several professional awards.

He also lectured at several congresses from Zagreb, Bilbao, Leipzig, Barcelona, Chicago, etc. He is one of the founders of the Piran Days of Architecture international architecture conference. In recent years he participated in international cycling congresses from Vienna, Dublin and Lisbon to the VeloCity 2022 in Ljubljana. In 2023 he received the title Congress Ambassador of Slovenia.
