Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia. It belongs to the Podravje region, specifically to the territory of the Slovenian Styria. The Maribor area, with its sweeping hilly landscape, stretches on a bed of aerated rock and Pleistocene clay: a combination that is particularly favorable for vine cultivation.
