Cankarjev dom - CD Congress Centre Ljubljana is a venue situated in the heart of Ljubljana, within walking distance from all major hotels and the city’s attractive Old Town. With 23 multipurpose halls, a maximum capacity of 2000 delegates in the plenary hall, 3600 sq m of exhibition space and state-of-the-art equipment, Cankarjev dom is the largest congress centre in Slovenia, annually hosting over 250 national and international congresses and convention-related events. 

Cankarjev dom boasts a well-considered design aligned with contemporary functional and aesthetic criteria as well as extraordinary acoustic properties of its halls. The venue, which has a total surface area of 36,000 m2 and is able to welcome up to 5000 visitors simultaneously, also provides extensive space for commercial or art exhibitions.

The CD Congress and Event Management has been providing services as a professional organiser of conferences, conventions, meetings and events since 1980.  In alignment with our green policy, CD has implemented energy-saving, water conservation, and waste-reduction measures.
